CGC's Maja Groff elected to GCA Advisory Board

The Global Commons Alliance (GCA) has announced the results of its Advisory Board elections, with the Climate Governance Commission’s Executive Director Maja Groff among five new member representatives elected to the Board. She is joined by Jean Oelwang (Planetary Guardians), Mario Neto Borges (TWRA), Salvatore Coppola-Finegan (EcoCitizen), and Wendy Broadgate (Earth Commission & Future Earth). They join existing Board members David Akana, Naoko Ishii, and Rachel Jetel, with Margarita Astralaga as Chair.

The GCA also welcomed two new members to its Expert Council: Johan Röckström, CGC Co-Chair and Director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, and Dominic Waughray of WBCSD, both transitioning from their previous roles on the Board.

The CGC congratulates all newly elected members, and looks forward to continued collaboration with and through the GCA. Read more here.
