Maja Groff and Eoin Jackson contribute to THE NEW INSTITUTE's Re-Thinking Capitalism volume

THE NEW INSTITUTE has published Re-Thinking Capitalism, the concluding volume of its annual theme examining how contemporary economic systems can be critically rethought and pragmatically transformed. The collection brings together interdisciplinary perspectives on climate change and degrowth, food systems, the marketisation of universities, and fiscal and tax regimes, with contributions from Kohei Saito, José Luis Chicoma, Sayed Azam-Ali, Matthias Schmelzer, and others.

CGC Executive Director Maja Groff co-authored a chapter with Eoin Jackson, titled "Mobilizing Demand for Earth System Governance and Transformative Economic Reforms." The chapter examines the machinery of Earth system governance and considers what would be required to make it more responsive and accountable.

The volume marks the conclusion of THE NEW series. CGC congratulates Maja, Eoin, and all contributing fellows. The publication is open access and available to read in full here.
