UN Civil Society Conference in Nairobi

May 9-10, 2024

The CGC convened a workshop in collaboration with United Nations University on “Governing our Planetary Emergency”. The workshop featured panel discussion, with speakers including Maja Groff, Commissioner and former UNGA President Maria Fernanda Espinosa, Commissioner and Co-President of the Club of Rome Sandrine Dixson-Declève, Commissioner and Director of WRI Africa Wanjira Mathai, and Commissioner and Special Envoy for Youth for the African Union Chido Mpemba.
